Bulawayo Shelter Projects Center (an initiative
of a group of churches) provides workshop facilities and skills
training for destitute and unemployed people who wish to gather
their own income. The center encourages them to start small businesses
in the informal sector and become self employed instead of waiting
to be employed.
One of the activities is sewing. A number of manual and electric
machines are available for the members - more experienced members
buy their own at a subsidized price. Mojoy paid for two extra sewing
machines for training.
The machines can be be used by all
