Festive street children day Maputo

The party day for street children from teh slums in Maputo is already a tradition thanks to the annual contribution of Moments of Joy. The children look forward to this party all year long.



All the children are from poor families and there is very little entertainment in their lives. They are lucky if there is one proper meal a day.
For these children a nice party day (or rather days - given the large number of children) is obviously the highlight of the year. Thanks also to the commitment of the volunteers they experience an unforgettable feast.
This year the program is as follows:
- A sports tournament for boys and girls
- a dancing competition
- a quiz at school
- a nice meal with soft drinks
- a trip to the swimming pool with only the oeldest children (due to security)
