Music has therapeutic qualities. It improves recovery of patients and makes the overal care more humane. Lies Joosten is a therapeutic harpist, teacher of IHTP Europe and the Foundation of the Healing Harp. She spent a long time in Honduras and has excellent contacts. She is organising 20 music sessions where (trained) musicians go to hospitals and care homes to perform. She herself does all of the organising for free but wants to pay the musicians a small compensation as well as their taxi fare (travelling with expensive instruments is safer in a taxi). One session costs € 112,50
